How to don't get drowned in your trip - San Cipriano

Yeah, this is the story about how I get drowned, but before to begin to talk about it, let's see what is San Cipriano's natural reserve?

San Cipriano is a small town, converted into a nature reserve, which is located near of Buenaventura's city, in Valle del Cauca, within the thick jungle of the Colombian pacific. Its name derived from the name of the San Cipriano's river; a beautiful river who looks like crystal that runs through the jungle. It's necessary take a special transport to enter to the reserve, they called "brujitas", like a little witch, they're handmade cars that run along the rails of an old train track, powered by a motorcycle that is attached to the car, I have to recognized, it's one of the attraction of the place. 

All right, now you know about the place. After we took the brujitas, we had to walked a long distance, passing through some villages, and finally we entered into San Cipriano's natural reserve, the people who lived there was friendly with us, like if we were the most important thing in there, and I knew it was about money. 

I have forgotten tell in this trip, it was with a tourist guide, and I was accompanied by my family (mom, dad, sister, brother) and also by my mother's grandfather and the boyfriend of my sister. 

It was nicely trip, but when my dad wanted to jump of a high rock who was standing into the lake, I felt a high social pressure to did the same, I wasn't scary, but I knew that I didn't have idea about to swim, the lake was deep, like fifteen meters. Well, my sister jumped, and his boyfriend too, so I was obviously that I continued. I have to said that I was consider liker a fit guy by my family, but after I jumped it was shameful. I tried to get into the safe area, but there was a stream of water who was sucking me into the lake, it was horrible, I felt defeated, I screamed "help", and my dad was the first who get into the lake to tried to get me out. After this, I took classes in my university to learn to swim.
